Red Sea Reefer 350 - In the beginning

This is the day the Red Sea Reefer 350 went live. It's been a long time coming.

The tank has been sitting in my living room for about a month now.

60 pounds of dry pukani rock has been cycling for 5 weeks now in a blue barrel in my hallway.

All the equipment has been slowly arriving as the budget allows. I'm most impressed with the build quality of the Vertex Omega 150 skimmer.

It took a lot more work that I imagined to get the aquascape to a point where I felt comfortable with it. I made sure to take photos so I knew where to place each piece in the tank.

Dry fitting all the equipment to ensure that everything fits properly.

I used eggcrate (light diffuser panels) on the bottom of the tank and placed the rocks on it. Just in case the rocks fell there is less of a chance of it cracking the bottom glass panel.
